Just got back from my first anime convention, Anime North (which ran all weekend). It was really fun! Although I spent too much money ;__; ...

I met Mwu's English voice actor, Trevor Devall. In fact, I was the first person in line to get his autograph ^^;; I admit I was pretty nervous, since I'm kinda shy and tend not to fangirl in real life >__> ... Anyway, I asked him to sign a picture of Mwu that I drew ^^ .. uh, I'll post scan of it on request...

I saw some GS/D cosplayers, but they're all from ZAFT, or Lacus!! I didn't see anyone cosplaying Mwu or Murrue =( ... I was gonna cosplay as Murrue, but ended up procrastinating and not able to finish my costume (it's still unfinished DX), and during the con, I really really wished I had finished my costume and went as Murrue, just to see how many people would recognize her. But I did walk around with my fanart buttons on my bag (see photo, big buttons are mine, the small ones I acquired in Artist Alley), which a few people asked me about ^__^

Also, I hate how it's all about Destiny now! All the cosplayers were doing characters from GSD ZAFT people... I saw a Dullindal, a couple of Meers, many Lacuses, a Luna, a Heine, an Yzak (in GSD white uniform), 2 Athruns, a Cagalli, 2 Shinns (one in pilot suit, one in uniform). I did see an Auel (only EA person), but still Destiny. Surprisingly I didn't see any Kiras O__o ... Oh, and there was this person who cosplayed as Meer's pink Zaku, it was an amazing costume! I also saw some cosplays from Mobile Suit Gundam (Char and Bright, and Amuro), and G00 (2 Tierias and 2 Setsunas). But no Mwu or Murrue! =(

So anyway, I spent a lot of money DX mostly on GS-related stuff, of course. I got the RGB Destiny artbook + some SEED club chibi stuff, yay!! ^__^ It has this picture of MwuxMurrue <33333 and a sketch of Neo (I usually don't like Neo, but RGB makes him look... okay). I'll scan them when I get a scanner. Yeah it's Destiny, but it's still RGB <33 I still want the SEED one.

I wanted the GS novel vol 4. According to Amazon, it should've come out May 18th, but I think they might be lying, since I couldn't find it anywhere, and I looked on Tokyopop's site and couldn't find it ;__; ...

Got 2 Gundam models. One is the 1/144 Gunbarrel Strike, which is awesome (though the gunbarrels are more orange than the Moebius 0, maybe I'll repaint it), and I would've loved to see Mwu piloting it (like in the GBA game), he'd be awesome in it! I also got the PG Strike!! Expensive yes, but still.... >____< ... I wanted one to go with the Skygrasper, and it looks awesome =D Also got some Gundam markers, so I can finally paint the Archangel without using Acrylics that peel off ^^

I looked for the Moebius0 + Skygrasper, and couldn't find it ;__; ... even though there were a few other EX models. Saw the 1/100 Providence, was gonna get it, but when I came back (after getting more money ^^;), it was gone >_< ... oh well, saved me some money...

Also bought some figurines. I looked for Murrue, but couldn't find her (there is no non-chibi figurine of Mwu *sob* ), but I did find Kira and Miriallia.

Then just before I had to go, I saw the chibi Murrue and chibi Rau!! I wish they had chibi Mwu as well!! I really wanted that figure ;__; .. I wish I found that booth earlier, maybe they had Mwu...

I also found the chibi series I saw online a while back, so I got the Rey one. They also had Luna and Shinn, but no Kira...

Speaking of figures, strangely, I could not find one Lacus figure! I would've gotten one if they had one, since I do like Lacus. But it's all Luna, Meyrin, or Meer (and Stellar once, oh, there was a Stellar plushie which was kinda cute, but I didn't buy it; there was a Talia figure which I almost bought >_< ) DX ...

I think that was one of the biggest shopping spree I've ever taken.. Not shopping for a few months ;__; ...
