Painted Archangel Photos
Yay, finally painted my 1/1700 Archangel. I used Gundam markers, much better than acrylics. Unfortunately though, I think the gray I used was too dark, and the painting is pretty messy >__< ...

However, brushes > Gundam markers, although enamel paints (and probably Gundam Marker Paint) > acrylic paint for this purpose.

Markers are easier to control than brushes, and faster for big areas. It's those nooks and crannies that are kinda hard with markers. Like the small engine bits, I used my black brush-marker to paint, even though the marker ink isn't the same as Gundam marker paint (it's more washable and kinda smudges DX)
Marker vs Brush
The best results for large areas are supposedly got with spraying, but it's such a hassle not to mention expensive. Larger brushes are the cheap alternative. Super small ones for details.
